At Applied Right Finishes we take ownership of the fact that it is our responsibility to do everything possible to implement sustainable building practices. We have taken it upon ourselves to use as many non-chemical borne materials as possible, therefore reducing our chemical impact on our environment and our employees.
Recently many paint manufacturers have been developing new products that are less volatile to our environment. Some of these materials are considered "Hybrid products", a term that identifies a product that has many of the same finish qualities as a chemical based product but is water borne. Most of these materials are being developed out of necessity as a result of the EPA tightening regulations on chemical production every year.
Within the last two years Applied Right Finishes has managed to eliminate over 50% of our chemical waste by using as many water borne products as possible. We feel that it is our responsibility to be on the cutting edge of the painting industry's transition to green materials.
An example of a "green" material that has been produced to exceed average industry standards for low levels of VOC (Volitile Organic Compounds), is Rodda's Horizon line of paints which we use as often as possible. Learn more about this material and other Rodda paint by visiting www.roddapaint.com.
Please join us in creating a cleaner environment by requesting that as many "Green" materials as possible be used on your next project.
